Christmas Runners

Here is one of the Christmas table runners I made for my quilt guild's silent auction. It is a stripe material that I cut with the 60 degree ruler to make the ends pointed. I love how the stripes connect at each intersection and continue around. The runners are very elegant looking with the metalic gold in the Kaufman print and in my quilting.

May Sewing Accomplishments

The Bunny Quilt is a Anne Sutton design from Bunny Hill. I bought the kit from her. This was my first attempt at hand applique. I love it. It will be my Spring/Easter quilt.

This pillow I made for the Project Pillow Swap. It will go to Ohio. I love the look of the chocolate pompoms but they were not so fun to insert. On the back I put yellow snaps to hold the pillow closed. I also added a little machine embroidery applique flower. She had requested Frolic from Moda so I found a Charm Pack and it went together fairly quickly. Hope she likes it.

Spring Swap Runner

I received this beautiful runner in the mail today! It is from my swap partner in the Quilted Table Spring Table Runner Swap. I love the colors and the pattern! She did a great job.

Potholder Pass 3

I just finished my potholders for the Potholder Pass 3! Her color choices were blue and tan. I found some nice fabric in my stash. The blue is a Debbie Mumm and the tan is a chicken tracks print. Hope she likes them. Now to get them in the mail.

The Long Road Home by Peggy Parrott

This quilt was fantastic. I saw it at the Mancuso quilt show in Denver yesterday. There were many awesome quilts to be seen. I had a great time!
