My Entry for the Blogger's Quilt Festival
My entry for the Blogger's Quilt Festival is this quilt. It is "The Fourth of July" designed by Judy Niemeyer. I made this quilt in 2007. It was a class at our LQS to learn the freezer paper method of paper piecing. No paper to remove from the seams! I made this quilt for my daughter and we named it "Meghan's Independence Quilt". It was made to go with her into her new home. At the time she really didn't have a new home yet, but we were planning ahead! She finally got her very own home December 2008. She loves her quilt very much! It has red flannel for the backing. It is very snuggly and made with love.

Christmas Runners
Here is one of the Christmas table runners I made for my quilt guild's silent auction. It is a stripe material that I cut with the 60 degree ruler to make the ends pointed. I love how the stripes connect at each intersection and continue around. The runners are very elegant looking with the metalic gold in the Kaufman print and in my quilting.

May Sewing Accomplishments
The Bunny Quilt is a Anne Sutton design from Bunny Hill. I bought the kit from her. This was my first attempt at hand applique. I love it. It will be my Spring/Easter quilt.
